This is a list of characters found in DAUGHTERS OF TITH in order of appearance. I've included trees :). Minor spoilers just for who will show up in the book. Work in progress!

Tchardin:

Tevadra. Tith's youngest daughter. Born with a golden aura which means she will be queen.

Kadailin:

Tevadra. Tith's second youngest daughter.

Jaydin:

Tevadra. Tith's oldest daughter. Born knowing the history of the kandar and the Earths. Member of the Calendrai council.

Sandin:

Tevadra. Tith's second oldest daughter. Born without a mindvoice and with no connection to the collective. She can only speak aloud.

Tith:

Kandaran tree. Dark brown, straight trunk and branches with rough bark and emerald leaves. Tith stands at the centre of the island Calendrai with his two "brothers" (Ahron and Sirrhon), and is the father of the five sisters (in order of their births): Jaydin, Sandin, Damarin, Kadailin, and Tchardin. Previously the adoptive father of Carrensing.

Ocien:

Tevadra. Friend to Tchardin. Tchardin attended her birth.

Torshe:

Devoshai. Friend to Tchardin. Dodenzinn of Ocien.

Kor:

Tevadra. Newly born of a nameless tree in Cens. Tchardin attends her birth with Ocien and Torshe.

Damarin:

Tevadra. Tith's middle daughter. Born ambitious.

Sirrhon:

Kandaran tree. Tith's larger brother, standing to the right of him as seen from the direction of Land Side.

Ahron:

Kandaran tree. Tith's smaller brother, standing to the left of him as seen from the direction of Land Side.

Ryten:

Devoshai. Friend of the daughters of Tith. Extremely tall. Thought to be Tchardin's dodenzinn. His father is Del.

Marr:

Devoshai. Voice of the Calendrai council. His father is Gerrin.

Cien:

Devoshai. Shadow of Black Valley. His father is Roa.

Ovaeron:

Kandaran tree. Black curving trunk and branches with blood-red leaves. Ovaeron stands at the centre of Black Valley and is the father of all kandar, through Tchar.

Miadra:

Tevadra. Her dodenzinn is Cotelle.

Heirrar:

Kandaran tree. Dead white tree with a broken trunk and bare of leaves who stands in one of Black Valley's caves. One of Carrensing's three fathers.

Cotelle:

Devoshai. Miadra's dodenzinn. Extremely tall and broad. Very quiet.

Nox:

Devoshai. Son of Sirrhon. Member of the Calendrai council. Old.

Anatoly:

Devoshai. Son of Ahron. Member of the Calendrai council.

Yulek:

Devoshai. Member of the Calendrai council.

Karel:

World Tree of World One. Straight, dark grey trunk with smooth bark, making him difficult to scale. Vivid green leaves. His daughter is the guardian Voronin.

Frenn:

Kandaran tree. Hidden in the living forest, Cens. Said to be the most beautiful, one of his branches sweeps nearly to the ground.

Maxim:

Devoshai. One of the sleeping kandar.

Miran:

World Tree of World Two. He is a many-trunked, light-grey to white tree with yellow leaves who has the appearance of a forest, with trunks spread over a vast area, sharing the same root system.

Alyx:

Human girl on World Two. Her eye colour shifts between the natural shades of the earth (yellow-brown-green etc).

Kordic:

Devoshai. Guardian of World Three. Old.

Zemko:

World Tree of World Three. Regular-sized tree with nothing to indicate he is kandaran except his name. He loses his leaves in winter.

Tairasyn:

World Tree of World Four. Wide black trunk with rough bark edged in grey. Dull green leaves coating massive, twisting branches, one of which nearly sweeps the ground. He stands in a shadowed forest and intimidates the humans.

Rann:

Human boy on World Four. One of the Sparr.

Hunter:

Human man on World Four. Citizen of Arkaiyan. The Royal Hunter.

Ondra:

Tevadra from Black Valley.

Verron:

Devoshai. Member of the Black Valley council.

King Tezroi Ferroen:

Human man on World Four. King of Arkaiyan.

Queen Jaycee:

Human woman on World Four. Queen of Arkaiyan.

Lowren, the black dragon:

Dragon on World Four. A captive of the Arkaiyans.

Einen:

Tiger on World Four. A captive of the Arkaiyans.

Ruon (Zyphen):

Devoshai. Guardian of World Four. He is named Zyphen by the Arkaiyans, who know him.

Del:

Kandaran tree. Hidden in the living forest, Cens. Ryten's father.

Irah (the tree):

World Tree of World Five. Has the appearance of a large bonsai tree, he grows in a large pot and is "shaped by his owner to 'look like the original'."

Irah (the woman):

Human woman on World Five.

Veradon:

World Tree of World Six. Said to be the largest of the World Trees, Veradon lives in a vast green space contained in the centre of an advanced human city of skyscrapers.

Reva:

Human woman from World Six.

Rai:

World Tree of World Seven. Tall and straight, Rai is a coniferous tree with a rich dark brown trunk. His son was Leksten, guardian of World Seven.

Siltadon:

Tevadra. (New) guardian of World Seven.

Moradi:

Tevadra from Calendrai. Her father is Vurel.

Vurel:

A tree in Cens. Moradi's father.

Aaron:

Human man on World Eight. Photographer.

Bronson:

Human man on World Eight. Aaron's partner. He is bald (by choice).

Wallan:

Devoshai from Calendrai.

Rahfa:

Tevadra from Calendrai. Wallan's dodenzinn.

Laurence:

Old human man on World Eight. Collector with a World-Eight-equivalent of Alzheimer's. He wants to change the world.

Ruslan ('s body):

Devoshai. (Former) guardian of World Eight.

Lyudmila:

Human woman on World Eight. Live-in nurse for Laurence.

Eskola, Thiaw, Sisask, Kangur:

Kandaran trees on World Eight.

Zalenth:

(New) World Tree of World Eight. Three grey trunks, two joined close to the ground and one joined beneath it. His leaves follow the natural pattern of the seasons, which means they are currently multi-coloured (green-yellow-red).

Dani:

Second of the kandar. Tchar's dodenzinn.

Tchar:

First of the kandar. Queen of existence.

Siv:

Tevadra. Member of the Calendrai council.

Flint:

Human woman (?) on World Nine. She has no thoughts and no eyes. Her skin and hair are grey and so is her rotten clothing.

Olexin and Jav:

Two devoshai from Black Valley killed by a screen of spinning sand.

Janna:

Tevadra from Black Valley.

Loam:

Devoshai from Black Valley.

Banda:

World Tree of World Nine. A willow tree made of ice.
