Finished the 1st draft of TTN

Oops. I forgot to update about this.

I finally finished the 1st draft of my NaNoWriMo 2022 project TTN (The Twin Novel).

Total word count is 67,148! I expect the 2nd draft to grow to between 90-100K words, so--once again--I have a pretty underwritten 1st draft. That doesn't scare me too much anymore. I'm excited to fit this one in for editing at some point in the next year or two. I actually even have an editor in mind to query it to when it's done...

I've been thinking of it as a kind of The Goblin Emperor meets The Imperial Radch trilogy thing and someone I've had my eye on for other projects prominently displays those two on their request page so...sounds perfect to at least attempt submission!

This is a little, completely standalone fantasy novel so I think it stands a much better querying chance than DoT ever did :).

So, some final word count stats and then it goes on the backburner.

After NaNoWriMo I made a goal to write 15K extra words on TTN. The timeline for this goal changed a lot over the next two months, but in the end I set a firm deadline of Jan 31st!
